Splashtop Personal for iPhone App Reviews

Use this to check status of various systems around the house. Works well on local network...speed, graphics, screen refresh, etc. Will probably upgrade to attempt remote access to see how it competes with PC Anywhere, a known service.

Ive had this app for several months now and its So Great! It actually provides Complete Access to your entire computer (…not to mention—any external devices connected via the ports of your computer)! You navigate your computers desktop just as you would if you were sitting in front of it, however, now youre doing it

Ive been using Splashtop for a little over a year and it gets better with every update. In a world with many sketchy apps on the market, thanks for making such a great quality product. Very easy to use. Smooth even when not on wifi. Ive tried a few other remote apps, this is by far my favorite!

This app is very slick - does exactly what it says. however why are there two versions of it? and im not referring to the purple business version - but two "Personal" Splashtop apps!! i had one for a long time then suddenly it started giving me errors so i got this one - if the old one was being discontinued why not tell people?!?! you have my email!!

Cant get support to fix my problem. It was working great for a while and then stopped working. Cannot log in remotely, and cant get any answers from the support team. Edit: they finally got around to helping me with my issue. It is working again. Well see how it goes.

I use this app at home and at work for a variety of remote connection needs and it is always up to the task. The developers just keep making it better, easier to use, and more secure.

Lets me access my pcs from my phone/tablet when Im somewhere else

I which I was able to put it to sleep then wake it up when I access it not having it on all the time but other than that it just made work a whole lot easier!

This is by far the best remote app Ive used. I love the remote anywhere feature.

This app works great when it wants too. When it doesnt theres many problems that have been a constant for many years without any signs of being fixed. One of the biggest is the lack of ability to handle more then one screen. At random times when you log in youll be unable to view your second screen after pressing the change screen button as it renders that screen as a black screen or splits incorrectly. Another big problem is sometimes when you log in itll just display a black screen. The app will be connected to your computer and you can still send commands to your computer but the screen will be rendered with your curser on top of a black screen. In a remote location where you cant see your computer screen this renders the app more then useless If you want to try to see if you dont get these problems, keeping in mind this is a problem affecting many users over a time span of four years, I wish you luck

Does not connect to remote PC. Complex waste of time and money. Dont believe these other 5 star fake reviews.

It is so optimized that you can use it for streaming video.

Its very great, but the quality and performance could improve. Its a bit laggy and sometimes the qualities are poor. Very seldom its that way hence is why I rated 4, but when it is like that, its very frustating to deal with. Other than that, its great! The price is what its worth and its definitely the worth to download, thanks!

Downloaded and paid for this, upon spending much time I was informed I would have to pay 15 more dollars per year to use it. Scam, not sure why reviews are high

Im not sure if this company has change hands or maybe just dissolved, but they no longer are answering support issues. I had a lifetime Anytime Pack because of purchasing Version 1 of their app several years ago. And now it just quit working. Upon inquiring about it they first said, well, weve recently cleaned up our databases... Cleaned up their databases? My account was deleted. :( They said theyd check into and Ive asked about it a few more times but they wont ever get back to me. I think the company must be gone or dying, but they still have their app in the store. I would strongly recommend looking at other options if your in the market for an app like this.

The only remote access app I need. It works. It has worked for 3+ years. New version is great. Keep paying for yearly subscription because the app needs to make money to be supported!
